​DE'VIA DEAF ART FESTIVAL

​DEAF CULTURAL CENTER, 7p – 9p

 

Nineteen De’VIA artists from across the country will be taking time from their retreat for a party at the Deaf Cultural Center. Attendees will have the chance to talk with the artists and learn about their work. [Interpreters will be available.]



The first 250 attendees will receive a magnetic badge celebrating 200 years of Deaf Art. There will also be the following door prize drawings:

-One package of De’VIA note cards (20), featuring the art work of Chuck Baird

-Beautiful art De’VIA piece [worthy of framing!] depicting a Sunflower
-Deaf Artists in America: Colonial to Contemporary, by Deborah M. Sonnenstrahl

-And possibly more surprises!

There will be a limited number of 2014-2015 calendars for sale ($25), featuring the De’VIA art work from these artists and many others.
